What a refreshing change it is to find a site dedicated to relatively unknown, but altogether excellent, Australian talent. Thanks for giving the up-and-comers a chance. Who knows, maybe a future Mel Gibson or Brett Whitely will be discovered here. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on an excellent Website. For a scientist like myself who has little time to participate in theatre (my second passion) I think that it is a valuable tool for keeping up with the Arts. It is also interesting for a Pom like myself to see what's on in theatres on the other side of the world!

Unlike so many other websites these days, yours is not held back by fancy graphics which take an eternity to access - the layout is clear and simple. Keep up the good work!

About the writer: I am a PhD. student in Neuroscience at University College London, investigating learning and memory. I am especially interested in how the brain is able to process and recognise objects, from abstract pictures to faces, and which part of the brain is involved in these processes.

Ed: We've put his email address on just in case any of you need to have your heads examined! (hee hee!)

I have recently discovered Talent Unplugged and I am thoroughly revelling in the smooth and witty style of your Theatre Buff, Michael Maher. I was lucky enough to attend a performance of Mourning After and agree wholeheartedly with Michael's sentiments on the excellent talent and style of the production.

I look forward to further critiques and trust that Michael will be encouraged to travel extensively to bring to work/house bound Theatre buffs like me a delightful range of live Theatre with his usual mix of pithy observation and stylish precis of the performance at hand.

What a great concept this is. As the head of Queensland's longest established professional theatre training school at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba, it is a real pleasure to see this sort of opportunity being made available. Australia's young actors are very gifted and a site like yours can only help to showcase their many talents even further.

I note you have NIDA up there ... "the best"? Well, that's arguable of course, but what about showcasing the rest of Australia's training schools? We'd be happy to supply you with the details about USQ's excellent program.

Best wishes

Hi,

I've just been looking at your website and I think its really good to see the promotion of unknown bods on the world wide web.

It might be good to mention where all this art can be seen as my first thought when looking at the site, was, where is this coming from? It wasn't until I saw the gallery listing that I realised it was a listing for Sydney.

This isn't an issue for people in Australia, but for others it would be good to know where these places are eg. use Australia's international dial code as well as the national number.

I'm emailing you on impulse so I guess you could say that my suggestions come from a gut reaction.

Anyway, keep up the fossiking for new talent. I live in Brisbane and there is barrell loads going on up here.

The paintings are incredible - immensely sharp - very nice. Goood work!
