Programme

Biddenjarreb Pinjarra - History ambushed. NIDA's production of Brendan Behan's 'The Hostage'. A British soldier is captured and imprisoned in a Dublin brothel and held with the possibility of execution in retaliation for the pending execution of a young IRA man in a Belfast prison. Despite the sombre theme, the play is absolutely hilarious.
The performance is based on the poem 'Autogeddon' by Heathcote Williams which is a witty and cynical look at the death, destruction, disease and pollution that accompanies mankind's obsession with the automobile. It was one of those after dinner occasions, the wine was flowing and the truth was not going to get in the way of a good story ...
The Mourning After - Nancye Hayes is brilliant as Belle Doyle... The best & the brightest - NIDA, Australia's premier college for the performing arts.
Nathanial Storm - Another NIDA success! (Sorry no pics)
